Maldon Cricket ClubWelcome To Maldon Cricket ClubWelcome to Maldon Cricket Club We currently compete in the Essex & Suffolk Two Counties Championship, and three competitive teams will play every Saturday. This is a feeder league to East Anglian Premier League, where we were runners up in 2003. On a Sunday our first team together with some of our most promising colts is set to compete in the Piri Piri League, which comprises the top league teams in North Essex. We also have a friendly matches as well. We have a growing Ladies section, who play in the Beaumont Seymour League, on Friday evenings and Two Counties Ladies 20 over competition on a Sunday. The club also two youth teams in each of Under 9's, Under 11's, Under 13's and Under 15's. .in the Central Essex District League and 2e also have girl's teams at Under 11, 13 and 15 The club is proud to see this area of the club prosper, with a number of player representating Essex and the District. We have a whole host of activities for our young players. Children between the ages of 6 to 16 can come along to Drapers Farm during the summer to learn and play the game. The club has over 200 youth members attending weekly training sessions. The Club is justifiably proud of its Colts system which has produced some fine players. We work in Partnership with The Plume School and Maldon District Council to develop Cricket in the District, and part of this involves hosting a Kwik Cricket Festival for Primary schools in the Maldon area. In the winter we run a school of excellence with our partners to develop our younger cricketers. We are always looking for new members to join our family and if you are interested please contact us.
